  • Identifying items to be sold and removing personal effects not to be sold
  • Providing all tables and required locked cases
  • Arranging for all advertising, e-mail reminders and flyers
  • Providing adequate staff, and arranging for professional security as needed
  • Presale when advantageous for high ticket or unusual items
  • Arranging for any desired charitable donations made with the remainder of the items, with donation slip for you
  • Leaving the home cleared of contents and in broom-clean condition
  • Sales proceeds are paid within three days at the closing of the estate sale

Pricing Your Items
Estate Sales & Liquidations will do our best to get top dollar for your items. Since our fee is based on a percentage of the total sale, it is in everyone's best interest to get the highest price on all items.

Event Sale Days
Our "events" are conducted on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Advertising of the sale will be in two local newspapers, emails and through an extensive call list. Advertising and staff are paid out of our percentage.

An Estate Sale is a Big Open House!
Let us know if the home or office will be listed with a realtor or we can get a reputable real estate professional to work with you prior to the sale.

Your Preparations for the Estate Sale
  • Please dispose of any medications

  • Please gather all personal photographs and papers and remove from home

  • Please keep on water and electricity

  • PLEASE DO NOT THROW ANYTHING AWAY

  • There is no need to clean up the kitchen cabinets, drawers, closets, etc. as we do this as we prepare for the sale

  • Keep any instruction booklets for any of the appliances or other household items, and set these aside for us; they increase value of the items.
